Happy New Year And Welcome To 2010
Happy New Year and Welcome To 2010. This post is a quick recap of our 2009 and to extend our gratitude to some of the great people that we have met along the way.
FMS SEO originally started out as Foxley Marketing Solutions @ www.foxleymarketingsolutions.com and we moved to FMS SEO with the new domain www.fmsseo.com (just over 2 months ago).
The transition meant that we lost our Page Rank of 3, it went down to 0, or more accurately known as n/a.
We also lost quite a few of our strong search engine placements for highly targeted keyword phrases, going from being ranked 1st in Google to being on page 10 and beyond.
Another affect of the move was our Alexa rank went back up to around the 8,000,000.
As of today, our Alexa traffic rank is 200,818 and our Page Rank is a nice 4 (not bad for two months worth of work*).
Our regular visitors (under 50% of our visitors) will no doubt have noticed that we have changed our look (again). We hope you like the look as we will be staying with this one for some time to come now (I was out voted on the colour scheme
)
A Highlight Of The Year Was…
Markteing Profs is one of the sites we regularly visit and it was a real honour to see one of our articles mentioned by them.
Marketing Profs wrote D0nt Do Thi.s where our article Are You Writing Email Marketing Messages That Suck? was mentioned.
Sharing The Love
There are a few people that Kelly and I would like to personally thank and what better way than to link out to one of their articles. Please take the time to visit each site and, if you like what you read, leave a comment (this is an unordered list with everyone deserving an equal measure of thanks).

Guest Blogging
As we enter into 2010 we are looking to allow guest blogging on our site.
For those who have already sent us an email to enquiry about guest blogging here please come back in the next few days as Kelly is putting together a post explaining everything.
We look forward to reading and sharing your work.
2010
We are going to start adding ‘how to’ videos in the near future so be on the look out for those.
Have a great 2010.
Warmest regards,
Karl and Kelly-Anne

ZXT
Nice list of bloggers Karl. Your new domain surely is easier to remember as its much much shorter than the last one.
ZXT´s amazing last blog ..Blog Monthly Stats
Karl Foxley
Thanks ZXT. It also features one of our keywords which is always a bonus.
Gordon
I see you’ve already added it, that’s great! Your new design looks very luxurious. At my colorimetry classes I’ve learned that purple and black along with gold are THE colors to use if you want your product to reflect luxury and quality from a psychological aspect. Did you guys make it yourselves?
Gordon´s amazing last blog ..6 Most Successful Types Of Headlines
Gordon
Very kind of you to link to my blog guys. I will continue to write for many more years hopefully. This list is great, I’ve found out about some bloggers I haven’t before and I wish I would have. Do you plan to install CommentLuv on this blog anytime in the future?
Karl Foxley
You’re welcome Gordon. We had CommentLuv installed but since the transition to a new look the plugin stopped working. We will hopefully have it back up and running in the very near future.
