Ileane, from Basic Blog Tips, is someone who you simply *MUST* take the time to get to know.
Ileane has dedicated a lot of her time to writing great introductory articles for new bloggers’ taking their first steps into blogging and social networking, but, I would argue that her advice is far from ‘basic’ like her site title suggests.
You see, beyond what you read and learn from Ileane’s great content and the articles written by guest bloggers on Basic Blog Tips, you can learn so much about the social side of blogging just from watching Ileane’s online activity.
I say this because if Ileane finds a well written post, something that is worth sharing, that is exactly what Ileane will do.

Karl, how well written and how very true. You did a great job of defining who she is and what she does. I hate to be a name dropper but Ileane is the one who encouraged me to even start blogging before she ever began. What I was too lazy or unconcerned about learning; she jumped right in, gathered all the tools and resources, applied them and then taught them to me. She will spend hours on the phone with me whether through Skype or some kind of screenshot training or whatever suits ME and even when I come back weeks later asking her the same thing she just invested her time trying to teach me, she will go over the entire thing again. No, that is far from BASIC.

Really I consider Ileane as the best blogger in my networking. Not many bloggers could devote much time to read and comment on other blogs like Ileane. While many people just leave a short comment, Ileane always know how to gain value in her comments and they do contribute very much to my posts.

I guess that if you were to ask all BlogEngage members to name their “Top Five Bloggers” then Ileane would be on almost every list – she’s quite simply amazing. I love the way she explains things slowly, calmly and with authority on her videos.
